Inpatient Psychiatrist Staten Island University Hospital â Staten Island, NYNorthwell Health is recruiting a full-time BE/BC Inpatient Psychiatrist to join the Behavioral Health Hospitalist team at Staten Island University Hospital.
The ideal candidate should be energetic, innovative, and enjoy working in a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Staten Island University Hospital’s Department of Behavioral Health Sciences offers comprehensive psychiatric care in a patient-centered environment.
With over 1,450 discharges annually, it is one of the most active mental health centers on Staten Island.
Our 35-bed inpatient unit provides short-term care to evaluate and stabilize patients with acute psychiatric disorders, focusing on returning patients to normal functioning, rebuilding self-esteem, and enhancing socialization.
As part of Northwell Health, Staten Island University Hospital is a 714-bed teaching hospital located in New York City’s fastest-growing borough.
It spans two large campuses, along with community-based health centers and labs, serving Staten Island, the NYC metro area, and international patients.
