Job Description
Barton Associates is seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment at a Hospital in New York. The ideal candidate will be available to start on 08/04/2025, working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. This opportunity involves four days of patient contact and one day of remote administrative work per week. The selected provider will be responsible for outpatient adult primary care, including physicals, follow-ups, routine visits, and management of conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. Typically seeing 15-18 patients per day, the physician will handle both acute and chronic visits in a flexible schedule that may accommodate walk-ins when possible.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide comprehensive outpatient adult primary care services Conduct physical examinations and follow-up appointments Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension Address acute health concerns and provide appropriate treatment Perform routine health maintenance and preventive care Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic electronic health record system Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes Participate in one day of remote administrative work per week Adapt to a flexible schedule that may include walk-in patients when possible Stay current with the latest developments in family medicine and primary care
