RICBT , part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking aPsychiatrist to join our team in Warwick, RI . As a member of theOptum Behavioral Care team, you’ll be an integral part of ourvision to make healthcare better for everyone. As a Psychiatrist ,you will treat a wide variety of mental health conditions thatreflect the needs of our diverse patient population . Primary Responsibilities:

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools , medical tests, anddiagnostic criteria to diagnose mental health conditions andformulate comprehensive treatment plans
• Deliver individual andgroup psychotherapy sessions, employing various therapeuticmodalities tailored to each patient’s needs
• Prescribe and managepsychotropic medications per established protocols and clinicalguidelines; monitor medication efficacy and side effects, adjustingtreatment plans to optimize patient outcomes

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a clear, active and unrestrictedPhysician license (MD/DO) in the state of practice
• B oardcertified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry andNeurology (ABPN) or eligible for board certification
• Active DEA(Drug Enforcement Administration) registration

PreferredQualifications:

• 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatientbehavioral health setting
• Experience providing patient education,specifically regarding medication treatment adherence and aftercareservices
• Experience counseling patients using advancedpsychotherapeutic techniques, including in group settings
• Experience treating substance addiction and co-occurring disorders
• Experience working with patients in different age groups,including older adults
• Experience working with couples or familycounseling
• Experience working with computers for professionalcommunication and medical documentation – Excel, Outlook, AthenaRMS (or other EHRs)
• Knowledge of TMS
• Knowledge of Magventurechair

The salary range for thisrole is $255,573 to $372,297 annually. Salary Range is defined astotal cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix ofbase and bonus is variable based upon experience and metricachievement. Pay is based on several factors including but notlimited to local labor markets, education, work experience,certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimumwage laws as applicable.
