Heritage New York Medical, P.C. is a medical practice which includes an interdisciplinary regional team of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers and highly skilled support staff to bring the best care to patients. At HNYMPC patient health and overall well-being is our undivided focus. We serve patients in all 5 boroughs, Nassau and Suffolk Counties. HNYMPC is looking for experienced and dedicated licensed Physicians to join our growing staff. You will provide direct patient care, discuss patient symptoms and concerns and perform thorough examinations to diagnose medical problems . You will prescribe medication and create a treatment plan if necessary, while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members. Our ideal candidate has a current New York state license to practice and at least five years of medical experience. This candidate must be able to multi-task as well as take the appropriate action with minimal supervision. Driver’s License and proof of insurance is required. Reimbursement is provided for transportation. Transportation is provided with Scheduling requirements. Physician Duties and Responsibilities Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form. Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care Order and administer tests including lab work Review and interpret test results to diagnose health problems Recommend further treatment options or future appointments if needed Ensure patient records are kept up to date including test results, immunizations, condition changes, etc. Physician Requirements and Qualifications NYS MD or DO (Required) Certification by The American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in internal medicine. US work authorization (Required) Bilingual (Preferred) Day Shift (Required) Weekend Availability Confidentiality (Required) Previous experience in private practice or facility-based experience (Required) Ability to build rapport with patients Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership qualities
Direct Patient Care:
2 years (Required) Understands HIPAA and OSHA regulations Able to operate as part of a multispecialty team Ability to commute/relocate: All NYC boroughs; Nassau & Suffolk counties. Reliable commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
