Position Overview We are currently seeking a skilled andcompassionate Cardiologist to join our dedicated healthcare team ona part-time basis. The Cardiologist will be responsible fordiagnosing and treating heart conditions, performing variouscardiovascular procedures, and providing health education topatients to help manage their heart health. This position will besplit between our St. Ann’s and Bronx Blvd locations in the Bronx,providing flexibility while serving the needs of our patients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct thorough physicalexaminations and assessments of patients to diagnose cardiovascularconditions. Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as ECGs,echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac imaging. Prescribetreatment plans, including medications and lifestyle changes, tomanage cardiovascular health. Perform diagnostic and therapeuticcardiac procedures, such as catheterizations, angioplasty, andstent placements. Educate patients and their families about heartdisease prevention, treatment options, and healthy lifestylechoices. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans asnecessary. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals,including primary care providers, to ensure comprehensive patientcare. Document patient information accurately in the medicalrecord, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Participate in continuing education programs to maintain up-to-dateknowledge of advances in cardiology. Engage in quality improvementinitiatives and adhere to best practices for patient safety andcare. Minimum Education Requirement Doctor of Medicine (MD) orDoctor of Osteopathy (DO) with a focus on Cardiology. Minimum WorkExperience 5-8 years of clinical experience as a Cardiologist,preferably within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) orsimilar healthcare setting. Preferred Work Experience 8 years ofexperience in cardiovascular medicine. Licensure Valid and activelicense to practice as a Cardiologist in the State of New York.

Board Certification in Cardiology is preferred. Current BLS (BasicLife Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)certifications. Active DEA License Required Skills & KnowledgeProficient in performing diagnostic tests and procedures for heartdiseases. Knowledge of current guidelines and best practices incardiology. Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centeredcare. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patienteducation and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Abilityto work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaininga focus on quality and patient safety. Bilingual skills(English/Spanish) are preferred but not required. Job type :
