Job Description
Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist or Adult Psychiatrist (Inpatient) – Northern New York We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Psychiatrist for an Inpatient Opportunity in the beautiful Northeastern Tier of New York, located near the Canadian border.
This location offers proximity to the 1000 Islands, Lake Placid, and the Adirondack Mountains.
Position Highlights:
Employed positionCollaborate with an established inpatient unit, outpatient clinic teams, and provide in-hospital consultsConduct holistic psychiatric evaluations, manage acute/chronic mental health conditions, and offer pharmacological interventionsFollow-up care and crisis managementCoordinate with other clinic psychiatrists and review treatment plansDay shift with shared on-call duties, including one weekend per monthH1 and J1 visa sponsorship available for 2025 and 2026 candidates
Compensation and Benefits:
Base salary: $308k – $408k, depending on experienceAttractive base salary plus wRVU incentivesSign-on bonusComprehensive benefits packageMalpractice coverageStudent loan repayment
