Good Samaritan University Hospital recently broke ground on its Patient Care Pavilion. Good Samaritan University Hospital (GSUH) is a 400 bed teaching hospital located on the south shore of Long Island, in West Islip. GSUH is five miles, a ten minute drive, from beautiful state beaches and 35 miles from midtown Manhattan. The CTICU intensivist leads the interdisciplinary team in theprehensive care of admitted cardiothoracic patients, in our dedicated closed CTICU
Subspecialty support in all medical/surgical areas including but not limited to: endocrinology, cardiology, nephrology, pulmonology, urology, interventional radiology, ophthalmology, plastic surgery, oral & maxillofacial surgery, orthopedic surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, thoracic surgery and cardiothoracic surgery
The team consists of dedicated CTICU nurses, physician assistants and nurse practitioners
There is advanced practice professional (nurse practitioner and physician assistant) support in all areas and residency programs in:
Emergency medicine, family practice, podiatry, pediatrics and obstetrics and gynecology

Requirements
Licensed to practice medicine in New York State
Board Certified or Board eligible within 3 years with training in critical care
BCLS and ACLS certified
Salary Range
USD $350,000.00 – USD $470,000.00 /Yr.
