Position Overview:
We are looking for a remote psychiatrist to provide medication management and psychotherapy services to our adult clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anxiety, depression, and trauma, and be comfortable working with clients who are also receiving therapy through our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for adult clients Provide medication management, with a primary focus on pharmacological interventions Offer psychotherapy services as needed Collaborate closely with our team of therapists in treatment planning and ongoing care Participate in regular team meetings to ensure coordinated care Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records Stay current with best practices and emerging treatments in psychiatry
Qualifications:
MD or DO with completed residency in Psychiatry Current and valid license to practice psychiatry in New York State Board certification in Psychiatry (preferred) Experience in telemedicine and remote patient care (preferred) Strong understanding of anxiety, depression, and trauma treatment Experience in both medication management and psychotherapy Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
