Position Overview:
The Mammography Supervisor provides clinical,organizational, and scheduling support/leadership to a fast-paced,multimodality radiology practice. The position with a technicalfocus on mammography, stereotactic biopsy and bone density,candidate will facilitate workflow by acting as a clinical liaisonbetween all modalities, radiologist’s, and front desk to maximizewomen’s clinical services on a daily basis.
PrimaryResponsibilities:
- Prepare monthly technologist schedules(mammography/stereotactic biopsy/bone density) to coordinate withcurrent radiologist staffing in order to maximize workflowincluding; vacations, eTime issues, and related coverage
- Communicate daily department staffing (radiologist/technologists,technologists) to front desk scheduling coordinator
- Performclinical exams as needed
- Organize/approve add on “stat” exams tomaximize workflow within the department
- Assist ClinicalOperations Manager in development of clinical protocols for usewithin the entire practice in all locations
- Lead contact in thepreparation and submission of all ACR accreditations and MQSArequirements at all locations
- Create, initiate, and maintain a QAmammography reporting system for all

- Coordinate stereotactic/biopsy/wire locs exam protocols
- Independently resolve issues and coordinate appropriatedepartmental resources (clerical, file room, clinical) when neededto facilitate workflow. Follow up as needed
- Maintain dailycontact with clinical coordinators in ultrasound-x-ray as needed
- Inform Radiology Manager on a daily basis of all departmentalactivities needing supervisory action
- Perform all aspects ofemployee relations including, but not limited to: evaluations,corrective action, time cards, etc.
- Responsible for machinemaintenance and recordkeeping of any occurrences
- Maintainstrictest confidentiality in all aspects

Required Qualifications:
- Completion of an accreditedRadiologic Technology program
- AART certification/licensure
- 3years of experience as a technologist and three years supervisory
- Knowledge of standard policies, procedures and protocols tosupervise the department directly
- Knowledge of radiologystandards to evaluate work of technologists
- Demonstrated abilityto maintain a well-organized, clear, “thinking” approach to allsystems
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly andprofessionally to all staff and physicians
- Proven excellentorganizational skills and ability to function independently in alladministrative aspects of the standard office-operating environment(typing, WORD, EXCEL etc.)

- External Medical Partners Thesalary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based onfull-time employment.
Pay is based on several factors including butnot limited to local labor markets, education, work experience,certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimumwage laws as applicable.
