Job Description
Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center , located in Johnstown, Pennsylvania , is seeking an energetic and dedicated physician to join its Internal Medicine Residency Program as Core Faculty . This university-affiliated, community-based program operates within the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Pittsburgh and Harrisburg. With a team of 25 residents and a diverse mix of attending physicians and trainees, the program offers a dynamic and engaging environment for medical education.
Key Responsibilities Outpatient and Inpatient Care:
- Primarily focused on outpatient clinic responsibilities.
- Approximately 7-10 inpatient call/rounding days per month.
Resident Education:
- Serve as teaching academic faculty, dedicating the majority of time to resident training and mentorship.
- Opportunities for teaching appointments at sponsoring medical colleges.
Academic Contributions:
- Participate in research and publication efforts (preferred but not required).
