JR4887 Description Penn StateHealth Lancaster Medical Center will give residents of Lancasterand York counties additional access to Penn State Health’sexpertise and specialty services without having to make the driveto Hershey. The facility is currently under construction withcompletion expected in October of 2022. Once opened, our newfacility will help ensure residents in nearby communities haveaccess, quality and choice of care as close to home as possible.

This new, acute care facility will play a major role in helpingPenn State Health reach its long-term goal of making sure thepeople in the communities we serve are within.

• Supervisionmodel 1:2 Case Assignments Diverse case mix including OB ShiftsVarious shifts available Requirements Responsibilities
• Assist inthe directing and coordinating of activities in the AnesthesiaDepartment
• Responsible for the medical management of patients whoare rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotionalstress during surgery and other medical procedures
• Pre-anesthesiaassessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discussanesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction,maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of thepatient’s physiological condition
• Performance of clinicalintervention as needed Requirements

• M.D./D.O.

  Degree from anaccredited College of Medicine

• ECFMC and FLEX
• Completion ofapproved residency in anesthesia
