Adolescent and Child Psychiatrist Psychiatric Associates of Pennsylvania 822 Montgomery Avenue, Narberth, PA 19072 About Us We are a well-established, fee-for-service outpatient psychiatry practice located in Narberth, PA, serving the Main Line and greater Philadelphia area. Our practice is known for delivering high-quality, individualized mental health care for children, adolescents, and families in a supportive and collaborative environment. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate board-certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team on a part-time or per diem basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young patients, strong clinical skills, and a collegial, team-oriented approach. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of mental health disorders in patients, including children and adolescents. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The Psychiatrist will ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while providing high-quality mental health counseling and support. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate mental health conditions. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences. Provide ongoing psychiatric care, including medication management and therapy. Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively. Stay informed about the latest developments in psychiatric medicine and treatment modalities. Skills MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. Active Pennsylvania medical license. Experience working with children and adolescents in a psychiatric setting. Strong skills in patient assessment and diagnosis of mental health disorders. Outpatient experience in child psychiatry preferred Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data protection. Proficiency in medical documentation practices and medical terminology. Ability to provide effective patient care through evidence-based practices. Maintain accurate and timely documentation using our EHR system (AdvancedMD) Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
