Job Description
Responsibilities Hanover Hill Behavioral Health, opening in late fall 2025 is seeking a board-certified psychiatrist for adult inpatient services. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary team while working in a state-of-the-art facility, including EPIC. Opportunity to teach residents is available. Located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in a region known as the Lehigh Valley, which offers a plethora of recreational activities allowing for a professional career and a fulfilling personal lifestyle while in close proximity to NYC, Philadelphia and beaches of New Jersey. Hanover Hill Behavioral Health combines two leaders in health care, in the partnership of Universal Health Services & Lehigh Valley Health Network. The 144-bed free standing behavioral health facility will offer the community high-quality behavioral health care services for seniors, adults and adolescents.

Qualifications:
Education:
Doctorate Program Experience:
Preferably two or more years’ experience within a psychiatric setting. A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in working with in an inpatient setting is preferred.
Licensure:

Qualifications Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited medical school or foreign equivalent degree. Completion of an accredited residency program in psychiatry OR at least be in the 6 th month of PGY-3 or higher in an ACGME-accredited Psychiatric Residency or in a Psychiatry Fellowship Program PGY-4 or higher. If seeking privileges in specialized areas (e.g., child & adolescent, geriatric, addiction, etc.) completion of an accredited fellowship in the respective field. Prior experience in psychiatric practice, within specialty, within the past two (2) years.
New Grads:
Completion of an accredited psychiatry residency and/or fellowship satisfies this requirement.
Current Residents or Fellows:
In at least the 6 th month of the PGY-3 or higher, and in the process of completing an accredited psychiatry residency or fellowship program satisfies this requirement.
