General Practitioner (GP) Chris Talarico & Assoc. Direct Hire Staffing Experts since 1992 Pennsylvania • Remote My clients is seeking a compassionate and experienced Medical Doctor/General Practitioner to join their team and make a difference in the lives of their patients through quality healthcare delivery. This is a full time position: $180k to $300k+ depending on experience. They are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to support non-profit organizations focused on individuals with – Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), child services, as well as drug and alcohol clients. The ideal candidate will provide both Telehealth and in-person consultations and will be responsible for leading and managing a multidisciplinary team. Reside in Pennsylvania- Some travel required, expenses paid – Highly competitive salary, benefits and possible bonuses.

Overview :

The dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner will support a variety of non-profit clients. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced medical professional to ultimately develop, manager, and lead a team of medical professionals. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of various health conditions. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a clinic or hospital setting.

Responsibilitie :

Conduct thorough patient assessments and medical histories to determine health needs. Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Provided comprehensive medical care for patients with- Intellectual Disabilities/IDD, children, and substance abuse disorders. Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulations. Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, including but not limited to those related to Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, and Geriatrics. Perform routine physical examinations and preventive health screenings. Develop and implement patient management plans based on clinical findings. Collaborate with specialists in Pediatric Neuropsychology and Nuclear Medicine as necessary for comprehensive patient care. Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic for documentation and patient management. Educate patients about their health conditions and promote healthy lifestyle choices.

Requirements:

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Valid medical license to practice in the state of employment. Strong clinical skills with experience in a hospital or clinic environment preferred. Experience with Telehealth platforms is preferred. Experience in primary care, particularly in working with vulnerable populations. Manage team operations, ultimately including- scheduling, performance evaluations, and training. Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Epic, is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients. Compassionate approach to patient care, with a strong understanding of social determinants of health. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being capable of operating independently when necessary. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with medical advancements.
