Job Description
We are urgently seeking a Hospitalist (MD/DO) to provide daytime inpatient coverage at their 25-bed Critical Access Hospital in north-central Pennsylvania. This is a high-priority locum tenens opportunity due to vacation coverage, with APP support on weekdays and attractive travel reimbursement.
Position Overview Schedule:
6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (12-hour shifts)

25 total (avg daily census: 12 patients)
EMR:
Meditech and Epic On-site specialties include: General Surgery, OB/GYN, Ortho, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Endocrinology, ENT, Anesthesia, Wound Care Responsibilities Daytime rounding, admissions, discharges, swing bed and SNF care Respond to codes and supervise APP (Monday-Friday) Consults and admissions from the ED Coordinate transfers to higher-level care when needed
Requirements Board Certification:
Internal Medicine or Family Medicine PA License & DEA:
Required at submission
Minimum Experience:
