Primary Responsibilities:

• Engage with a team of neonatologists and NICU nurses in theevaluation of the NICU patient
• Review literature and develop evidence-based guidelines
• Participate in nursing education as it relates toneonatology
• Conduct provider telephonic review and discussion, scheduleson-site visits and shares tools, information and guidelines relatedto cost-effective health care delivery and quality of care
• Support all clinical quality initiatives and peer reviewprocesses
• Responsible for appropriate utilization management
• Clinical lead for healthcare affordability initiatives at thelocal market
• Effectively engage and bring understanding to our externalconstituents such as physicians, medical and specialty societies,hospitals and hospital associations, and state regulators
• Deliver the clinical value proposition focused on quality,affordability and service, in support of the sales and growthactivities
• Responsible for identifying opportunities throughparticipation in local medical expense committees or marketreviews

Required Qualifications:

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted license
• Board Certified in an ABMS or AOBMS specialty-Neonatology
