The Charleston Area Medical Center Institute for AcademicMedicine is seeking a Trauma Surgeon for a fulltime academicassociate level position in the Department of Surgery, Trauma,Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery Section at General Hospitallocated in the capital city of Charleston, West Virginia. Thesuccessful candidate will provide Trauma surgery services in ouracademic healthcare institution and provide educationalopportunities for medical students and residents and will bejoining a trauma surgery group at an ACS verified Level One Centerwith approximately 3,000 cases per year. Scholarly activities arehighly encouraged. Job Requirements by the time of appointmentare: MD, DO degree or foreign equivalent degree from an accreditedprogram Board certification or board eligibility by the American Boardof Surgery in General Surgery and board certification or boardeligibility in trauma/surgical critical care required.
