Job Description
Physician will be covering as a UroHospitalist 24- Hour Call Coverage included Rounding on In-Patients, performing procedures as needed, and responding to consults as called upon Census for unit usually grows to 20-25 over the weekend, with 15-20 consults each weekend also Standard urology procedures include: stone care, stents, caths, cystoscopes, torsions (pediatrics included), incidental appendectomy, adrenal surgery, hernia repair, endourology procedures, hand assisted laparoscopic nephrectomy, etc. MUST be comfortable with trauma/open procedures i.e. gun shot wounds that involves kidneys or testicles, stab wounds, bladder repair, etc. No APP support on weekends
