Job Description

PathGroup is seeking an AP/CP Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pathologist to join our growing pathology services team in Greenville, SC or Columbia, South Carolina. This full-time role offers the opportunity to focus on high-quality cytopathology sign-out while maintaining a required general surgical pathology component. The selected candidate may occasionally assist in supporting sister sites in Sumter and Greenwood, South Carolina.

Key Responsibilities:

Cytopathology sign-out including gynecologic, non-gynecologic, and FNA specimens General surgical pathology sign-out as part of routine responsibilities Participation in FNA performance, rapid on-site evaluations (ROSE), and consultations Contribution to interdisciplinary clinical discussions and tumor boards Engagement in lab quality assurance and CAP compliance initiatives Optional general surgical pathology casework depending on practice needs Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution AP/CP Board Certification or Board Eligibility Board Certification or Eligibility in Cytopathology preferred Eligible for South Carolina medical license Excellent diagnostic and communication skills Strong commitment to teamwork and patient-centered care
