• Experienced candidates only. Seeking a Part time Contract Physician who will be responsible forensuring donor suitability, product integrity, and the continuedgood health of donors through compliance with FDA regulations andour Donor Center SOP
• You will not be seeing patients in thisrole, you will primarily be quality checking work and informationand signing off on that
• We do provide on-the-job training.

Theposition requires just 4 hours per week and it is a perfectopportunity to earn additional income. The center will be open limited hours in the beginning as it buildsa donor base. Likely the hours will be 8am-5pm M-F. Eventually, thecenter should be open extended hours 7 days a week. Because this is a new location, we will begin the contract bypaying you your monthly stipend. As we get closer to the opening ofthe center, we will contact you to begin working 4 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

Oversee

EMT/LPN/RN

(Physician Substitute)performing the following tasks:1.Determine plasma donor suitabilitybased on company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Thisincludes:

1.Review of medical health histories2.Physicalassessment3.Review of plasmapheresis procedure, hazards, potentialadverse reactions, and specific immunization programs ifapplicable4.Providing informed consent5.Counseling of donorsregarding deferrals6.Documentation of interactions withdonors2.Review of donor treatment and suitability following adverseevents related to plasmapheresis

• -3.Provide training for donorcenter medical personnel including, Physician Substitutes and otherPhysician(s).4.Review lab results, as required, and exerciseindependent judgment to determine donor

Requirements:

The positions require just 4 hours per week and are a perfectopportunity to earn additional income.

• Must be a graduate from a licensed medical or osteopathicschool
• -Specialty in Pathology is highly preferred
• -Must becurrently licensed in the state in which the center operates
• -Mustbe available for phone calls during the hours that the center isopen. (Typically limited to 3 calls per week or less)
• Must beCLIA certified for moderate complexity testing or be willing tocomplete the required coursework for such certification (estimated20 hour course) within 6 weeks
• Must be approved by the statelicensing agency as the CLIA Medical Director for the donorcenter Ideal CandidateOur ideal candidate is one with a somewhat flexibleschedule to visit our donor center every week (4 hours a week).

This can be completed in one visit per week or multiple visits ifthey prefer to break it up…. but they must come at least once aweek. Candidates will be detail oriented as they must review donorrecords. They will be professional and amicable as they will beworking directly with our nurses/EMTs. Ideally, they will beavailable by phone during the hours the donor center is open incase the nurses/EMTs have questions (we try to limit phone calls asmuch as possible).Distance to our donor center is very important.

We seek physicians who live or work within 40 miles of the donorcenter.

Ideal candidates will have little to no actions under theirlicense. Candidate should be asked to disclose any actions ormalpractice suits on their license to be included with theirsubmittal.
