The locum will handleinpatient rounds and must be skilled in both vaginal and cesareandeliveries. About the facility A large health system is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenenscoverage. About the facility location In Dillon, South Carolina, visitors can immerse themselves in theregion’s rich history by exploring landmarks like the Dillon CountyCourthouse or taking a stroll through the Dillon Downtown HistoricDistrict. About the clinician’s workday The schedule will be 24-hour call primarily while their perm OB/GYNgoes out on maternity leave. The facility may ask for clinicperiodically. They will have their FNP cover the office. If thereis something the FNP can’t handle, they will have the locum comeover to the office for that patient, otherwise, the FNP will admitthe patient and let the locum handle it at the hospital. The locumwill be required to round on inpatients in the hospital daily (evenon weekends). The locum must be comfortable with vaginaldeliveries, as well as cesarean deliveries. There will be EDconsults for OB/GYN patients as needed and no inpatient midlevelsupport. The age range for patients is 15-70. Circumcisions are notrequired, these are handled by the Pediatric Physician. The EMRsystem is EPIC. Additional job details Case load/
