Hiring Department The Thompson Center for Autism andNeurodevelopment and the Department of Pediatrics. Job DescriptionThe Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment and Departmentof Pediatrics in the School of Medicine at the University ofMissouri-Columbia (MU), is recruiting a developmental-behavioralpediatrician for an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor facultyposition. The faculty member will work primarily full-time in theThompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders, whichserves children with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) and otherneurodevelopmental conditions, and their families. The ThompsonCenter is a multi-disciplinary center with 15 different clinicalsubspecialties and is integrated fully with the academic trainingand research missions. The Thompson Center is growing and currentlyplanning for a new, state-of-the art facility along with expandedclinical programming. The position will include providing newpatient evaluations and ongoing medical care. Otherresponsibilities include the supervision of trainees, includingmedical students, residents, and fellows. There is also potentialfor participation in research activities and programmaticdevelopment.
