Job DescriptionThis Position is Contingent on Contract Award. This position will support the US Department of Veterans Affairs Critical Staffing Program. The person in this position will represent International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc.

and provide services outlined below:

 International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. is looking for an individual who is experienced as a Board-Certified Radiology Physician and is trained in providing onsite Abdominal/GU, Breast Imaging, Cardiovascular, General, Interventional, Musculoskeletal, Neuroradiology services that meet or exceed the American College of Radiology Guidelines. This position provides care to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in the Columbia, SC VA Healthcare System. 

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing general and Interventional Radiology procedures, including, but not limited to Diagnostic Radiology, CT scans, MRI, Ultrasounds, and Nuclear Medicine. Communication of test results for patient receiving care in accordance with VHA Directive 1088, Communicating Test Results to Providers and Patients. Provide consultation with and instruction to referring physicians regarding appropriate indications for general radiology films, ultrasound, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and Interventional Radiology procedures for expeditious and clinically appropriate work-up. Follow all established medication policies and procedures. Provide discharge education and follow up instructions that are coordinated with the next care setting for all emergency department patients. This list is non-exhaustive, and the role holder may be required to undertake additional duties that are not specifically listed above.

QualificationsBasic Requirements/Certifications:

Board Certification from the American Board of Radiology. Full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia. Moderate Sedation In-Service Training. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). 

Physical Requirements:

 Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time. May require bending, stooping and lifting to 25 lbs. 

Other Special Qualifications:

 Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be able to relocate to project site for the duration of the contract. Proficient in written and spoken English. Pass/possess VA Public Trust Clearance. Additional InformationPay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
