JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the daily operations of a Multi-Disciplinary Radiology practice. Manages technologists and support personnel assigned, completes the scheduling of personnel, equipment repairs, as well as evaluating work progress within the designated scope of services. Must have working knowledge of multiple areas within Radiology. This position requires comprehensive understanding of related technology, independent judgment and supervision of technologist. Responsible for all administrative tasks such as preparing budgets, responding to all administrative questions regarding departmental operation, capital equipment justifications and recommends purchases, maintaining adequate files and records in accordance with the state and federal regulations and keeps abreast of Prisma Health policies and procedures. JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Education and/or experience: Minimum education of associate’s degree from an accredited program. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years experience in Radiology with supervisory experience in preferred. In lieu of experience and /or educational requirements indicated above, the following combination of education training and/or experience will be considered an equivalent sub: ARRT registry. To perform this job successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must use

RIS/PACS

systems. Expected to have excellent manners and must represent facility in such a way that patients feel well cared for and would return to facility in future. Expected to demonstrate proper telephone etiquette, and strong attention to detail. Comfortable learning and working with new computer systems and within EMR (Electronic Medical Resord system). Be able to meet or exceed patient satisfaction at all times. Must be able to work independently. Must be able to interact with patients, staff, and medical staff in a courteous, professional manner. Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills. Demonstrates self-direction in improving and acquiring the skills and abilities necessary to enhance job performance.
