Orthopedic Surgeon Location:

Knoxville, TN General orthopedics and arthroplasty, including lower extremitytotal joint replacements, with other areas of focus alsowelcome. Supported by an experienced APP and a skilled staff team. A dedicated orthopedic OR suite with specialized support at amodern hospital offering on-site specialty services like cardiologyand pulmonology, along with telehealth options for additionalservices such as intensivist and nephrology. Hospital call is 12 days per month with flexiblescheduling. Office call is shared with other institutions. The clinic is connected to the hospital and convenientlylocated next to a state-of-the-art physical therapydepartment. Serves as a role model of professionalism to all members of theinterdisciplinary health care team. Collaborates with all otherpractitioners and clinical support staff to form a high performingteam. Provides high-value care; demonstrates good stewardship ofresources by limiting unnecessary testing and referrals; andconsiders risks, benefits, and patient preferences when makingdiagnostic or therapeutic intervention decisions. Documents all patient care activities and services provided inthe electronic health record. Documentation must be clear, concise,accurate, updated, and in sufficient detail to allow anotherprovider to continue the patient’s care as well as to allow otherparties to review the safety and quality of care provided.
