Otolaryngologist Location:

Oak Ridge (Knoxville area), TN Join a team of four full-time, board-certified generalotolaryngologists (with plans to replace a retiring seniorpartner), along with one nurse practitioner and five full-timeaudiologists. The practice is thriving, with an established referral networkensuring a busy schedule right from the start. Experience or interest in otology, facial plastics, or sleepmedicine is a valuable addition. Expected ER call coverage is 1:4 for one hospital, with nofacial trauma cases. Referrals include both adult and pediatric patients. Ancillary services provided include an in-office surgery suite,allergy treatments, an in-office CT scanner, a balance center, andhearing aids. The in-house allergy department is robust, offering both SCIT(Subcutaneous Immunotherapy) and SLIT (SublingualImmunotherapy). PA and NP support staff Assess, maintain, and improve the health status of individualsin the communities served through timely access to evidence-basedacute, preventive, and chronic disease care. Serves as a role model of professionalism to all members of theinterdisciplinary health care team. Collaborates with all otherpractitioners and clinical support staff to form a high performingteam. Provides high-value care; demonstrates good stewardship ofresources by limiting unnecessary testing and referrals; andconsiders risks, benefits, and patient preferences when makingdiagnostic or therapeutic intervention decisions. Documents all patient care activities and services provided inthe electronic health record. Documentation must be clear, concise,accurate, updated, and in sufficient detail to allow anotherprovider to continue the patient’s care as well as to allow otherparties to review the safety and quality of care provided.
