The incumbent represents an increasingly complex level of clinical care, which utilizes a comprehensive range of therapeutic expertise and modalities in providing biopsychosocial rehabilitive, case management, and ongoing mental health maintenance services to assist Veterans in reaching their individual personal growth, healing, and recovery goals. The incumbent is expected to be able to maintain autonomous independent-decision-making, particularly in regard to coordining and managing the delivery of services in the MHC. Duties include but are not limited to: Plans, implements, and provides clinical and managerial oversight to Clinical Services within the Mental Health Outpient Services, primarily through CBOCs, including requirements for staff, program coordinion, educion and training activities, and clinical consultion. Has direct or indirect (through subordine supervision) administrive and professional supervision of subordines. Ensures efficient operions for the provision of services through the CBOCs and MHC. Assures th staff members are trained and competent to perform the duties assigned.
