Associate Professor-Pediatrics Neurology 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars Memphis, TN 38163 The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neurology is seeking applicants for a full-time, non-tenure track Open Rank academic position. Academic rank at the time of appointment will be commensurate with experience and credentials. This position includes clinical care, teaching of residents and medical students as well as other academic pursuits and research opportunities. Responsibilities for the position include providing inpatient and outpatient Pediatric Neurology consultation and care in The Epilepsy Monitoring Unit at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, and interpretation of EEG studies at all satellite clinics in TN, AR, and MS. Responsibilities of this position include education and teaching, including didactic teaching and supervision of residents and students, research and clinical care. Research or scholarship opportunities include clinical, translational, or basic research, as well as in quality, health services and outcomes, epidemiology, implementation and dissemination research, or medical informatics.

EDUCATION

M.D. or equivalent degree and completion of fellowships in Pediatric Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology or Epilepsy.

LICENSES

Must be Board certified or Board eligible in Neurology, with special competence in Pediatric Neurology, and Clinical Neurophysiology or Epilepsy. Must be able to obtain medical licenses in the States of Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi.
