Job Description Summary Performs imaging procedures/treatmentsaccording to radiology practice standards in order to aid in thediagnosis and/or treatment of disease. Performs other duties asassigned. Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a thorough understandingof Radiologic principals/theory and utilizes the most appropriatetechnique and positioning for optimal procedures/treatments, asdemonstrated by procedure/treatment results.
• Develops appropriateprocedure/treatment plan.
• Implements procedure/treatment planutilizing established hospital protocols/guidelines.
• Completesdocumentation as required to comply with hospital policies andprocedures.
• Maintains equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, andwork areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure the safety ofpatients and staff.
• Participates in hospital and departmentalPerformance Improvement activities to ensure that patient care isconsistent with established standards.
• Completes assigned goals.

Requirements, Preferences and Experience Education Minimum :

Enrolled in an approved/accredited Radiology Program. Basic LifeSupport (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire date.

Licensure, Registration, Certification Minimum :

BLS CERTIFICATIONWITHIN 14 DAYS OF HIRE

Special Skills Minimum :
