TeamHealth is looking to add a nocturnist hospitalist to our team at Tennova Healthcare – Clarksville in Clarksville, Tennessee, just outside of Nashville.
This position offers a flexible 7-on/7-off block schedule working the 7p-7a shift with our skilled hospital medicine (HM) team!
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide inpatient care during night shifts, including admissions and cross-coverageCollaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of careManage acute changes in clinical status and respond to medical emergenciesOversee the care of patients in a variety of settings, including medical-surgical units, ICU and telemetryParticipate in hand-offs and ensure thorough communication between day and night teamsServe as a resource for nursing staff and other healthcare clinicians during night shiftsQualificationsMD or DO degree from an accredited medical schoolBoard certification or eligibility in internal medicine (IM) or family medicine (FM)Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage a wide range of complex conditionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and make sound medical decisionsCommitment to patient safety and quality careInterested in learning more?
