Internal Medicine Hospitalist Opportunity in Eastern Tennessee.
The procedures required will include central lines, PICC lines, as well as intubation, which is very infrequent but you will need to have the ability to perform.
Hospitalists do manage vents.
There is no pulmonologist on staff at the hospital, but specialty backup is available.
Schedule:
The call rotation consists of 2 doctors on each week, and they are seeking 4 physicians total in the program.
The scheduling involves 12-hour shift rounds on patients, with 24-hour shifts only for admits and consults, then the two flip schedules.
