The University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking a skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Neurology team at our 1 South Prospect campus in Burlington, VT. This is a 1.0 FTE exempt weekday position.

Education and Certification:
NP:

Completion of a master’s, post-master’s, or doctorate from a nurse practitioner program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate of Nursing Education (CCNE) or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Current certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or an equivalent body is required.

PA:

Completion of an Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) approved program (prior to January 2001 – Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs). Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is required.

Experience:

Previous experience as an NP or PA required. Previous experience in Neurology desired. This is a bargaining union position.
