Position Summary:
We seek a passionate and energetic Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with children (ages 2+) and their families and be enthusiastic about developing expertise in assessment and therapy. This position includes occasional opportunities to travel for school-based assessments and consultations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments Provide evidence-based therapy services for children, adolescents, and families Collaborate with schools and other professionals in community-based settings Participate in training and supervision as needed Help grow and manage a therapy caseload with assistance from administrative staff Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) in Psychology – In Clinical, Counseling, School, or Educational Psychology with a clinical focus. D (Doctor of Psychology) Clinical Psychology or School Psychology Completion of a postdoctoral internship or supervised experience Active license to practice psychology in Alabama (or eligible for licensure through ABEP) Preferred experience in: Assessment and diagnosis of autism and related disorders and other behavioral health disorders Evidence-based treatments for children and families (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care) Working with children with trauma histories
