Category Schools – School Psychologist Job Type Contract To Hire Position Overview We’re looking for a dedicated and licensed School Psychologist to join our fully remote team, providing vital support to K-12 students across Alabama . This work-from-home opportunity allows you to positively influence students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral growth. You’ll partner closely with educators, families, and school staff to deliver comprehensive psychological services through a secure teletherapy platform. Key Responsibilities Perform virtual psychoeducational assessments to assess students’ cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs. Support the development and implementation of individualized IEPs and 504 Plans. Provide teletherapy counseling and mental health services to students facing academic and social challenges. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to design and adjust intervention plans. Monitor student progress and analyze data to inform and modify support strategies. Participate in virtual IEP meetings, offering expert recommendations and professional insights. Qualifications Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology. Active and valid Alabama certification/licensure as a School Psychologist. Preferred minimum of two years of experience in a school-based setting. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual assessment tools is an advantage. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Technology Requirements Reliable high-speed internet connection. Desktop or laptop computer (tablets and Chromebooks are not supported). Successful completion of a technical screening to ensure platform compatibility.
