Responsibilities :
Assessments :

Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.

Counseling Services :

Provide individual and group counseling to address emotional, social, and behavioral challenges.

Collaboration :

Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create and implement intervention plans.

Documentation :

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and progress in accordance with district policies.

Crisis Intervention :

Provide crisis intervention services when necessary to ensure student safety and well-being.

Education :

Educate school staff, parents, and students about mental health, learning strategies, and coping mechanisms to foster a positive learning environment.

Qualifications :

Active or pending state School Psychologist license. Experience in school settings is highly preferred but not required. Knowledge of psychological assessments, special education processes, and mental health interventions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and flexibility to adapt to different school environments.
