Position Available:

Florida-Licensed Psychologist (PhDs/PsyDs) – For child/adolescent therapy services. This position does not involve testing/evaluation services. This is a full time W2 position (18-20 therapy hours per week). This is a hybrid position with at least two days in-person. After-school availability is required (latest session start time is 5:30pm).

Responsibilities:

Provide individual therapy using a variety of therapeutic modalities (Specialized training in at least one of the following is required: ACT or DBT. Provide parent training/coaching for child/adolescent issues ( Training in at least one evidence-based parent training program is required such as PMT, PCIT, SPACE, or other evidence-based treatment) Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans Provide individual cognitive-behavioral therapy with children and adolescents with anxiety, mood, or emotion regulation disorders and/or parent-focused therapy such as Parent Child Interaction Therapy and parent management training; Interest in integrating parents into treatment via ongoing parent education, troubleshooting and support Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, educators, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic care Maintain accurate and timely documentation Stay current with advancements in the field of pediatric psychology through continuing education and professional development activities

Requirements:

Licensure as a Florida Psychologist with a background in

Clinical, School, or Counseling Psychology:

PhD/PsyD only. Strong child & adolescent background and experience with ADHD, ODD, Anxiety/OCD Disorders and working with parents of children with challenging behaviors. Excellent communication skills, specifically the ability to communicate with families of different ages and from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment Commitment to providing culturally competent and inclusive care Tech-savvy and experienced in conducting telehealth services on virtual meeting platforms.
