The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in psychological assessment and therapy, with a focus on providing high-quality mental health care to diverse populations. This role involves working with adult patients. The Clinical Psychologist will be responsible for developing treatment plans, conducting psychological testing, and providing crisis intervention as needed. Duties Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient needs. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other modalities. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients, including social work and behavioral health professionals. Supervise and mentor interns or junior staff as required, fostering a supportive learning environment. Engage in crisis intervention strategies to support patients in acute distress or emergency situations. Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with best practices in psychology. Skills Proficient in psychological testing methods and interpretation of results. Strong understanding of medical records management and confidentiality protocols. Experience working with pediatric and geriatric populations is highly desirable. Familiarity with inpatient care settings and the unique challenges they present. Ability to supervise staff effectively while promoting teamwork and collaboration. Expertise in behavioral health issues, with a focus on evidence-based treatment approaches. Strong skills in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques. Knowledge of social work principles as they relate to mental health care and addiction. Excellent crisis intervention skills to manage acute psychological emergencies.
