I am working with a school in the Palm City FL area that is scheduling interviews immediately for a School Psychologist job. This job will be working with a K-12th grade caseload consisting of mild to moderate disability types and will cover 1-2 school sites. The district is looking for someone for Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 3:30 pm (37.5 hours) and the ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience/internships, hold an active CA PPS credential and be flexible on caseload and location.

Required:
Certified or eligible for a certificate as a School Psychologist as required by the FL State Department of Education. Knowledge of the principles and practices of psychological diagnosis and counseling as applied to children and the school situation. Knowledge of school system organization and operation. Ability to communicate effectively and to gain the confidence and cooperation of students, parents and school staff. Ability to administer and interpret psychological tests, formulate diagnoses, and generate educational interventions.
