DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assess appropriateness of referral for testing batteries, including a full range of psychological and neuropsychological evaluations assessing aeras such as intelligence, achievement, attention/executive functions, sensorimotor, language, social skills, career interests, etc.
Collaborate with staff (e.g., rounds, by appointment) to review testing questions for specific cases.
Consult with department as needed on psychological and neuropsychological testing.
Review assessment findings in feedback sessions with patients and clinical staff.
Review assessment findings with family and referents as needed.
Administer, score, interpret, and write brief and full reports using data from psychological and neuropsychological assessment.
Collaborate pre-admission to assist in determining appropriateness of potential admissions.
Train psychology and Caron staff on neuropsychological and psychological assessment, as well clinical areas/interventions.
Support the development and implementation of psychological services, including revenue generating opportunities.
Provide staff access to clinical resources/workbooks.
Ensure accuracy and complete
Maintains storage of testing data.
Facilitate the effectiveness of existing systems and processes, including the identification of needed process improvement actions, project teams, as well as staff coaching/
Collaborate with community partners, improve relationships, as well as develop relationships with external stakeholders and referents.
Maintain privacy, security, and confidentiality for all patients, past and present, based on Federal and State regulations and Caron’s policies.

Doctoral degree with specialization Neuropsychology, licensed psychologist or license eligible.
Minimum five years of experience in neuropsychological assessment and diagnosis.

Experience educating patients and staff about neuropsychological complications of addiction and psychological
If in recovery, 2 years of continued sobriety preferred.
