Comprehensive MedPsych Systems, part of the Optum family ofbusinesses, is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join ourteam in Sarasota FL. As a member of the Optum Behavioral Care team,you’ll be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare betterfor everyone. As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, you will treat awide variety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs ofour diverse patient population. Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual, family orgroup therapy sessions based on ethical and medical necessityguidelines; involve patient and/or family in treatment planning asappropriate
• Develop and coordinate a clinical treatment programfor the diagnosis, treatment, or referral of patients presentingmental health conditions
• Conduct psychological assessments andinterpret results
• Lead crisis intervention methods and provideinsight into the development of functional assessments andbehavioral intervention plans

Required Qualifications:

• Active andunrestricted (PhD, PsyD) license in the state of Florida
• 2 yearsof experience providing direct psychotherapy services toindividuals, families and/or groups
• Currently eligible to beenrolled as a provider in the Medicare program or able to terminateopt-out (if applicable) prior to starting a new position

PreferredQualifications:

• Ability to work with a wide range of clinicalpresentations
• Experience evaluating adults and/or children in anoutpatient clinical setting
• Ability to complete diagnosticassessments, general psychiatric testing, and provide directtherapy in an outpatient clinical setting
• Proven knowledge andexperience in providing neuropsychological, CBT, and otherevidence-based interventions
• Experience with health psychology
• Experience working with computers for professional communicationand medical documentation

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to locallabor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
