Clinical Psychologist Breakthrough Recovery Outreach Atlanta, GA Job Details Full-time $500 – $700 a day 4 hours ago Qualifications Addiction counseling Management Doctoral degree 3 years Supervising experience Doctor of Philosophy Licensed Psychologist Credentials Senior level Leadership Communication skills Hospital experience Full Job Description Provide individual therapy and group psychotherapy for clients and assist in the direction of the clinical component and assist in facilitation of organization-wide quality improvement and program development. Provide mobile, on-site and telehealth clinical services to clients of Grounded Wellbeing, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies. Provide weekly group psychotherapy and psycho-educational groups as assigned by the Clinical Team. Complete weekly assessments and evaluations with the assigned clients. Communicate with others related to the client’s treatment as allowed by client Maintain professionalism in interactions with staff and clients at all times and exercise maturity of judgment Uphold and respect client confidentiality at all times Follow through on all directives left by the Clinical Team Attend and participate in all staff meetings/in service as required Document in progress notes group and individual therapy sessions Familiarization with client charts on ongoing basis, awareness of all pertinent client information Attend and participate in clinical meetings and treatment teams Any and all other duties as directed by Chief Executive Officer Supportive crisis counseling with clients individual and group counseling as assigned or needed Assume responsibility for Facility, staff and clients in Clinical Directors absence, in conjunction with Chief Executive Officer Obtain necessary release to confer with outside professionals regarding treatment of a client Upon admission, verify that client has completed all assessments Ensure that “Initial Treatment Plan” is completed and placed in client’s chart within 7 days of admission Every week update and review the Multidisciplinary Master Treatment Plan Weekly help client identify contract goals and bring suggestions to Treatment Team meeting
Discharge Plans:
fill sheet out ahead of time with client Maintain professional boundaries with clients at all times Participate in the quality improvement and utilization review activities of the facility Other duties as assigned
Employment Standards Education:
Ph.D. from accredited College or University; licensed in Florida or eligible to be licensed
Experience:
Ph.D. and 3 years supervisory experience in a day treatment, residential or hospital setting: 2 years experience with substance abuse treatment.
Required Skills:
Must possess exceptional management skills, be highly organized. and able to work well with clients and professionals at all levels in the organization. Must have strong leadership and communication skills as well as a thorough understanding of treating clients with substance and abuse and behavioral health care issues. Must be familiar with working with DBHDD and Department of Family and Children Services clients. Pay = $500 – $700 per case
