Discover all the possibilities of a career at Northside today. Provides psychological evaluation and psychotherapeutic services to medical patients and when appropriate significant others. Consults with physicians and nurses and makes recommendations for appropriate services. Functions as a clinical resource to members of multidisciplinary treatment teams. May provide recommendations for program development around issues of health psychology. May supervise doctoral and post-doctoral trainees in psychology. Patients may include adolescents, adult, and geriatric populations.
REQUIRED
Doctoral degree with primary study in Clinical Psychology.
Licensed as a psychologist in the state of Georgia
Completion of one (1) year supervised clinical internship.
Must be CPR certified.
PREFERRED
One (1) year experience in a medical setting evaluating and treating patients for psychological factors associated with medical problems.
