The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychological services to patients in various settings, including hospitals and schools. This role involves conducting psychological assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to support individuals facing mental health challenges. The Psychologist will work with diverse populations, including children and families, and may utilize telehealth services to reach clients effectively. Duties Conduct psychological testing and assessments to evaluate patients’ mental health status. Provide patient care through individual and group therapy sessions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals in a hospital setting to create integrated treatment plans. Assess and diagnose psychological conditions based on patient evaluations. Offer child family counseling services to support families in navigating mental health issues. Implement crisis intervention strategies for patients in acute distress. Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote counseling services when necessary. Work with individuals with disabilities, ensuring their unique needs are met through tailored therapeutic approaches. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
