School Psychologist Job Duties:

o Conductassessments (intelligence, achievement, functional, behavioral,social, emotional, and curriculum-based assessment)o Interpretresults for special education eligibility and individualeducational needso Provide case management and coordination. Crisisintervention when appropriateo Knowledge of state and federallegislation for disabilitieso Communicate effectively both orallyand in writing, with staff, students and families.o Leadcollaboration and integration strategies.o Function as an effectivemember of the Multi-disciplinary Team.o Experience leading teams inmanifestation determinations, functional behavior assessments andbehavior intervention plans.o Ability to identify individualstudent needs and develop effective recommendations for themulti-disciplinary team.
