$62.1K – $92.3K a year 13 hours ago Qualifications Mid-level Full Job Description The school psychologist is directly responsible for the psychological assessment of academic, social, emotional, and behavioral domains utilizing problem-solving and standardized evaluations. The school psychologist participates in Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings and building-based problem solving meetings designing systems, programs and services that maximize student’s social, emotional, and educational success. In collaboration with staff, families, and communities the school psychologist promotes effective educational environments. Assess psychological, educational, and behavioral needs of referred students and consults with the appropriate professional persons regarding implications and resultsFacilitates and/or participates in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings and disciplinary review meetingsConsults with students, school staff, and parents regarding academic and/or personal/social needsMaintains clearly written and comprehensive reportsComplete Medicaid paperwork for eligible studentsServe on Student Support TeamsKnowledge in Multi-Tiered System Supports (MTSS)Follow all laws, guidelines, regulations, standards, and practices
