Job Description

School Psychologist – Brockton, MA 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Brockton, MA 02301 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to support students in a K-12 educational setting in Brockton, MA. This position is offered on a contract basis for the entire school year, providing a chance to make a meaningful impact on student development and well-being within a diverse school community.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students learning needs and barriers Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support students academic, social, and emotional growth Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed Maintain detailed records and reports in compliance with state and federal regulations

Desired Qualifications:

Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Massachusetts Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment Strong knowledge of educational psychology, assessment tools, and interventions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse populations
