Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school in Brockton, MA, is seeking a skilled School Psychologist for a full academic year contract. This role involves working closely with students, staff, and families to support the emotional, social, and academic development of students across all grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to assist in identifying students needs. Provide counseling and intervention services to support student well-being and academic success. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior plans. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions. Offer consultation and support on various psychological and educational matters within the school community. Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state regulations.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid license or certification in school psychology. Experience working with children and adolescents in a K-12 educational setting. Strong knowledge of special education laws and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work collaboratively with educators and families. Proficiency in conducting formal and informal assessments.
