Distance Education provides an entirely asynchronous, online learning experience that adapts to the unique circumstances of each student. The Opportunity:

Unity Environmental University Distance Education seeks enthusiastic individuals to serve as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support the development of a Bachelor of Science program in Psychology of Cybernetic Design. SMEs work closely with an academic dean to advise on and develop curricula, including program-level learning outcomes and course descriptions and sequences. They also collaborate with staff to create learner-focused materials to support program recruitment and marketing. Do you have the skills?
An advanced degree (Master’s minimum) in psychology, computer science, education, or other related field with significant experience developing cybernetic systems.
Broad understanding of the field of cybernetics and current best practices within the field.
Knowledge of how human behavior and thinking intersect with and are shaped by technological tools and interfaces.
Understanding of AI systems.
Familiarity with the skills and content knowledge required for successful career advancement in cybernetics.
Ability to efficiently operate a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately.
Experience with online teaching and/or distance learners is desirable.
Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the University.
