Job Description:

Soliant Schools is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a K-12 district in South Thomaston, Maine , for the 2025-2026 school year. We are hiring on-site only and are open to candidates seeking either full-time or part-time employment. In this role, you will collaborate with school staff, support student success, and help supervise a School Psychology intern. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive evaluations and supporting the development of individualized education plans (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct academic, cognitive, and behavioral evaluations for K-12 students Write and present comprehensive psychological evaluation reports Supervise and mentor a School Psychology intern Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with special education teams Provide consultation services to staff and families regarding student needs Support the district in implementing effective interventions and supports

Requirements:

Must hold a valid Maine School Psychologist Certification (093) or be eligible to obtain it before the start date Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology Strong understanding of special education processes, testing, and MTSS frameworks Previous experience working in school settings preferred Must be able to work on-site in South Thomaston, ME Benefits of Working with
