Job Description:

Job Summary:

• -Under the direction of the Director ofProfessional Programs the Psychologist provides a variety ofpsychological services in an outpatient, inpatient and residentialsetting.

Provides evaluations of impaired professionals. Functionsas an integral member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team.

Demonstrates knowledge and skills to appropriately communicate andinteract with the patients, families, and visitors of all agegroups while being sensitive to their cultural and religiousbeliefs. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to conduct psychologicalassessments using the standard assessment tools. Demonstrates theability to complete assessments in a timely manner using hospitalcomputers and dictation equipment. Psychologist needs the knowledgeand skills to appropriately communicate and interact with thepatients, families, referral sources and visitors of all age groupswhile being sensitive to their cultural and religious beliefs.

• Performance Expectations:

• Demonstrate the ability to provide therapy and assessments topatients within an outpatient, residential, and inpatient setting
• Demonstrate the ability to complete a clinical interview andreview information with patients, family members, and referralsources.
• Demonstrate the ability to conduct a psychological assessmentwith testing, and to prepare a written psychological assessmentreport.
• Demonstrate the ability to conduct and complete an assessmenton impaired professionals.
• Demonstrate the ability to collaborate clinically with staffwithin various roles.
• Demonstrate the willingness and ability to actively participatein helping achieve the objectives of the department; able to workindependently as well as with a team.
• Demonstrate the ability to complete all required trainingsand/or certifications and attend all required meetings.
